is there anyway to be sure its the heater core? like will my heater not work or anything? ive had this problem for a few months now, always on the pass side.
...check the fluid level in the radiator. Is it going down? Kinda depends on how much water you are talking about. If the floors getting pretty wet, then there will be a noticable loss of fluid in the radiator. Pull up the carpet and check it out. Does it _smell_ like radiator fluid?

ok forget the radiator core part. start out with the easy stuff first. in my truck it was doing the same thing on the same side and all but i noticed that it only happened when it rained or i took my truck to the car wash. it happend to be that rubber boot that the wires and stuff goes in, so try looking at that first.

ill check that, but i live in s.florida and it hasn't rained for like a month now. i noticed it the other day when i was cleaning my car, before i washed it. if it was the heater core, wouldn't my heat not work or my ac not work? how do i check the heater core. btw my radiator fluid level is fine,

how do i change a heater core and how much would it cost?
Heater core is about 40 bux, (give or take) Pull the right side of the dash out, disconnect the heater hoses in the engine compartment, remove the screws on the brace above the core itself, pull out... Install in reverse... It's about a 3-4 hour job for a 1st timer.
