its exaqctly what i was looking for. not too much silver but not soo much red that it just blends in. i think the silver sets the red off really good. i am happy with it though.. just time to start on the ext.cab panels. haha going to be a while for that though.

***UPDATE*** i have the door panels on and i think they look perty damn sharp. and no i did not shave the door pocket.. if i was decent at that kind of stuff.. i would probably have done it. i was just glad that i got the place where the carpet material used to be slicked out and smooth. anyways.. here are the pics

everything costs so much.. especially those damn kaik products. that stuff is expensive, but i am sure it is good quality. ok for the questions... these door panels are not glassed. they just have the texture sanded off. word of advice.. if your going to sand the texture off do it right the first time because any spot you dont sand the texture off will show through the paint more than likely. to paint the arm rest.. i went to autozone and got there vinyl spray can paint in red. i have also heard that it works like a dye.. only thing i knew of to use because everyone else says paint wont stick to it so i just got some of that vinyl paint from autozone for like 8 bucks. now for the padded part of the arm rest. to make a long process short.. i just ripped off all the padded part(i did not have to take out the melted rivets) i just ripped all the staples out of it i could and just went a ripping at it. then once you have it off there is just flat black plastic that has what i would call casting mold holes in it from where they made it.to fix all those i just layed some bondo down and feathered it all out smoothly. took me a while to get everything the way i wanted but it is all worth it in the end.
